Escenarios reciclados

Con los chicos del segundo ciclo (4to. - 5to. - 6to.) de la EPB Nº 14 de Vicente López, concretamos el proyecto anual de Educación Plástica, combinando diferentes disciplinas: la escultura, la pintura y la escenografía. De este modo recreamos las distintas regiones de la Argentina estudiadas en el año.
Tomando como punto de partida la falta de materiales convencionales y de dinero para conseguirlos, se trabajó con materiales de deshecho. Tales como: botellas de gaseosa, envases de lácteos, cilindros de cartón, hilo de pizza, alambre y distintos elementos de lo cotidiano que sirvieron para recrear escenarios de las regiones; pampeana, chaqueña y la patagonia.

Los niños del primer ciclo han trabajado sobre diferentes soportes. Pintura sobre madera, objetos, tela y cartones diversos. Cada maestra trabajó con su grupo abarcando los contenidos de cada año y resolviendo de modo creativo las representaciones de cada tema estudiado.

Hola chicos de Vicente Lopez,

Soy Noemi y les voy a contar como pasaré mi dia.Me levanto a las siete. El despertador me despierta con musica de la radio. Como de costumbre me voy a la panaderia por la maniana, pero estaba cerrada hoy y entonces fui ayer. Me lavo en el lavabo. Como pancito con grageas de chocolate, pasta de chocolate o miel. Mi mama nos obliga a mi hermano, hermana y yo a tomar un gran vaso de agua. Despues me lavo los dientes y a las ocho menos diez tenemos que estar listos. Si no estamos listos, tenemos que pagar un euro de nuestros ahorros . Me voy andando a la escuela porque vivo a 50 metros de ella. Los clases empiezan a las ocho y viente.

Empezamos con un charla. Alli los chicos cuentan lo que han hecho, o pueden mostrar algo, cantar, bailar o leer. Despues sacamos ideas para aprender sobre projecto e idioma. Despues empezamos a escribir y eso es lo que estoy haciendo (son las 9h42). Hay un recreo desde las diez hasta las 10h25. A vezes jugamos 'asesino' o cartas (de High School Musical). Despues tenemos matematica. Hoy nos toca trabajo independiente hasta las doce.

Me quedo a comer hoy. Me traje pancitos con miel,pasta de chocolate y grageas de chocolate (como mi desayuno). Tambien me traje un mus de chocolate como postre (lo ves, me encanta lo dulce). Cuando todos terminamos de comer, nos dejan jugar afuera. Hace lindo tiempo, entonces iremos al parque al otro lado de la calle. Alli podemos jugar a la pelota o al basket.

Se termina el recreo a las 13h25 y volvemos a la clase. Primero tomamos un jugo de Oxfam (una o.n.g que fomenta el comercio justo) . Me gusta mas el jugo de naranja. Despues tenemos un projecto. El mio se trata de los Juegos Olimpicos. Se tratara de la bandera y los anillos de los Juegos, los Juegos en la epoca de Antiguos Griegos y sobre las ciudades distintas de los Juegos Modernos. Tambien se tratara de los Juegos Olimpicos Especiales y Paraolimpicos. Organisare Juegos Olimpicos chiquito cuando presente mi projecto a la clase. Se termina la escuela a las 15h30.

Despues de los clases hago mis tareas. Hoy me tocara hacer cuentas y frances porque todavia me queda mucho para hacer. Despues voy a jugar un rato (bailar, jugar afuera o en el parque, o ir de visita a casa de Fien). Despues como una comida caliente. Y a las seis menos cuarto voy al taekwando, de las seis y media hasta las siete y media. Vuelvo a casa en bici. Despues puedo comerme un postrecito y me ducho. Despues me dejan ver la ultima parte de una pelicula en dvd (peli flamenca: 'desaparecido'). Entre las ocho y media y nueve me voy a dormir.

Eso sera mi dia !

Durante los días 26, 27,28 de mayo el proyecto "Imaginando Argentina" a través de los workshops, estuvo presente en la Escuela "DE VLIEGER".

Los niños a través de la música, danzas y dibujos, pudieron conocer algunos aspectos geográficos y culturales de nuestro país.

Quería agradecer la colaboración que me han brindado cada uno de los profesores de la Escuela "DE Vlieger" como así también la de su Director Jan Regaert que tan amablemente me ha recibido.

Hoi kinderen van Vicente Lopes,

Ik ben Noemi en ik ga jullie vertellen hoe mijn dag er vandaag uitziet:

Ik sta om 7 uur op. De wekker maakt me wakker met muziek van de radio. Meestal ga ik 's ochtends naar de bakker, maar vandaag was hij dicht en ben ik dus gisteren gegaan. Ik was me aan de lavabo. Ik eet boterhammen met hagelslag, choco of honing. Mijn broer, mijn zus en ik moeten elk één groot glas water drinken van mama. Dan poets ik mijn tanden en om tien over acht moeten we klaar zijn. Als we niet klaar staan, moeten we een euro betalen van ons zakgeld. Dan stap ik naar school want ik woon héél dicht bij de school (50 meter). Om 20 over 8 begint onze school.

We beginnen met een praatronde. Daarin vertellen de kinderen over wat ze gedaan hebben, of kunnen ze iets tonen, zingen, dansen of voorlezen. Daar halen we ideeën uit om te leren rond project en taal. Daarna beginnen we te schrijven en dat is wat ik nu aan het doen ben (het is nu 9u.42). Om 10 uur is er speeltijd tot 10u.25. Soms spelen we een spelletje 'moordenaartje' of een kaartspel (van High School Musical). Vervolgens gaan we rekenen (wiskunde). Het is vandaag zelfstandig werk tot 12 uur.

Ik blijf eten vandaag. Ik heb boterhammen mee met honing, choco en hagelslag (zie ook ontbijt!!!). Ik heb ook een chocomousse mee als dessert! (je ziet: ik ben een zoetebek). Als iedereen klaar is met eten, mogen we buiten gaan spelen. Het is mooi weer, dus zullen we wel naar het park gaan aan de overkant van de straat. Daar kunnen we ook voetballen of basketballen.

Om 13u.25 is de speeltijd afgelopen en gaan we terug naar de klas. We drinken eerst sap van oxfam. Het sinaasappelsap vind ik het lekkerst. Daarna hebben we project. Mijn project gaat over de Olympische Spelen. Ik heb het over de vlag en de ringen van de Spelen, de Spelen bij de Oude Grieken en over de verschillende steden van de moderne Spelen. Ik heb het ook over de Special Olympics en de Paralympics. Voor mijn projectvoorstelling ga ik een kleine Olympische Spelen organiseren voor de klas.De school is gedaan om 15u.30.

Na school ga ik huiswerk maken. Het zal rekenen worden en Frans want ik heb nog veel te doen. Daarna speel ik wat (wat dansen, buiten spelen (tuin of park) of bij Fien op bezoek). Dan eet ik warm.En om kwart over zes vertrek ik naar de taekwon-do. Om half zeven begint het tot half acht. Dan ga ik met de fiets naar huis. Daarna mag ik een potje pudding eten en douche ik mij. Dan mag ik het laatste stukje film uitkijken op DVD (een Vlaamse film: 'vermist'). Tussen half negen en negen uur ga ik slapen.

EL ASADO
Un cumpleaños, un feriado, un sábado a la noche, un domingo al aire libre. En nuestro país cualquier ocasión es buena para reunirse a degustar “las mejores carnes del mundo”.


.CaracterísticasEl asado es un plato de la gastronomía argentina cuando se hace referencia no sólo al costillar que se denomina “asado”, sino a todos los cortes que se preparan. Se trata de carne asada a las brasas de carbón vegetal o leña, sobre una parrilla metálica o en forma de cruz ("al asador") u otros implementos de cocción comunes en las zonas rurales, como el disco y la rastra de arado.Nuestro asado privilegia a la vaca (por sobre el cerdo, como en España, o los pescados, en Extremo Oriente), exige un punto de preparación más bien cocido que crudo(a diferencia de Europa), se prepara en parillas horizontales (distintas a las inclinadas de Uruguay), prefiere los cortes enteros (nunca hamburguesas, como en Estados Unidos) y se acompaña con tinto y ensaladas. El métodoEs necesario limpiar la parrilla antes de poner la carne. Para ello se la coloca diez minutos encima del fuego, se la retira y se le pasa un papel hasta que quede seca y sin restos de grasa de un asado anterior.Según los entendidos el verdadero asado se realiza con leña. Las mejores maderas son las duras, como el quebracho o el algarrobo, porque las blandas se queman rápidamente y no producen buenas brasas. Characteristics

The barbecue is a dish of Argentina´s culinary arts which not only refers to the cows’ribs, that is usually used to barbecue, but to all other meat cuts grilled.
The barbacue is beef cooked whit charcoal or wood on a metal grill or in a cross shapped grill or other types of grills used in the country side like the disc or the plow.
Our barbecue has a bigger accent on the cow over other types of meat (unlike pork in Spain or fish in the far east) it’s served well done (unlike in Europe where it’s served medium rare), it’s cooked on horizontal grills (unlike the ones used in Uruguay y which are tilted to the side) and most meat cuts are whole (different than the steaks and hamburguers in the US and it’s accompanied by red wine and different types of salads.
Before starting to cook the meat it’s imperative to clean the grill , it’s first put over the fire for a period of 10 minutes, then pulled of and wiped with a piece of paper and clean from any grease from any previuos barbecues.
Acording to specialists, the true barbecue is cooked with wood. The best kinds of wood are the hard ones like oak because softer types of wood burn quicker and don’t produce good coal.
The ritual of the barbecue starts withy the lighting of the fire with small branches and old newspapers. While the flames are growing, the wood is thrown into the fire, when pieces of charcoal start appearing, these are spread under the grill
The beef should be prepared salted with rock salt or sprayed whit lemon juice. You now start putting the meat on the grill, first the internal organs (such as kidneys or intestins) then the ribs and the broader cuts anther the loins, the stomach and the blood sausage.
The barbecue is not cooked with fire, but whith charcoal. It’s very slowly roasted which helps preserve all the moisture of the beef without burning it. The person cooking the barbecue needs to be aware of making sureto put the charcoal under the beef that needs is the most (usually thicker cuts need more charcoal than thinner ones)

El asado 3 b en castellano

El asado es una comida que se come en familia. Lo hacen los grandes: papás, abuelos, tíos, padrastros. Los chicos ayudan y juegan.
Para hacer el asado se necesita carne. Si hay paro no se puede hacer.
Los cortes de carne que se usan son bife, costilla, falda, carne con hueso, rabo y achuras: corazón, chinchulín, morcilla, y chorizo. También se cocina pollo y chancho.
Su usa para condimentar sal, chimichurri y limón.

Para hacer el fuego se necesita:
1) una parrilla, una chapa y ladrillos para levantar la chapa.
2) Carbón, madera, diario, fósforo , prenderlo y apantallarlo con un cartón.
Cuando ya no esté el fuego ( las llamas) se coloca primero los chorizos y luego la carne.
Las mamás preparan la ensalada de huevo duro, papa y mayonesa ( ensalada rusa), papa, zanahoria, arvejas y mayonesa, tomate, lechuga y cebolla.
Para tomar: vino, cerveza y coca
Es importante el pan.
De postre cualquier cosa.

An argentinean barbecue
It´s a meal eaten in family. It´s usually cooked by grown ups; fathers, grandfathers, uncles and step fathers, kids help when they’re asked and play while it’s being cooked
To make a barbecue you need meat, but if there’s a strike and there’s no meat available you can’t make it.
The types of meat that are used to make a barbecue are: all parts of the cow (like ribs, legs, part of the tail, the intestins, etc.) you can also barbecue chicken and pork. There’s a special sauce called “chimichurri” made with parsley, garlic, oil and vinegar that it’s put on the meat to give it a special flavor.
To start the fire to cook the meat, you need charcoal, wood and old newspapers. First you need a grill, a piece of tin and some bricks (that´s used to light the piece of tin and the grill) then you place the charcoal, the wood and newspapers that will be lit with matches and the wood needs to be fanned with a piece of cardboard.
When the flames are out, you first start placing the sausages and then the beef or chicken.
Moms make salads with hard boiled eggs, potatoes and mayonnaise, also they make russian salad (made with hard boiled potatoes and carrots, peas and mayonnaise) also, they make salads with tomatoes, lettuce and onions.
The beverages include wine, beer and coke.
There should always be bread to accompay the meal.
Dessert is not as important, anything will do.

Mijn ochtend

Ik sta op om 7 uur. Dan lees ik nog een beetje. Ik ga me wassen. Daarna ga ik ontbijten.
Eerst eet ik een boterham met pasta van speculaas (dit is typisch voor België). Anderen eten boterhammen met choco.
Soms ook wel eens cornflakes.
Ik drink er een glas melk bij.

Om 8 uur vertrek ik met de fiets naar school.

NOEMI EN KIMBERLEY

Atomium

Op 19 februari vertrokken we met de trein naar Brussel. Daar hebben we een wandeling gemaakt van 5 kilometer. We hebben veel gezien. Dan zijn naar het Atomium geweest daar hebben we kip met wortels en aardappelen gegeten. Na het eten hebben we een film gekeken : Little men en "Hokus pokus". Na de film zijn we gaan slapen in een bol van het Atomium. De volgende dag hebben we een rondleiding gekregen in het Atomium. Daarna zijn we gaan zwemmen in een subtropisch zwemparadijs. Met 12 glijbanen! Op 20 februari zijn we terug naar huis gegaan. Het was super leuk!!!!!!!!!

El 19 de febrero fuimos con el tren a Bruselas. Ahi caminamos kilometros y vimos mucho. Despues de la caminata fuimos al Atomio, donde comimos pollo con zanahorias y papas.
Despues de la comida vimos dos peliculas: "Little men" y '"Hokus Pokus". Cuando la pelicula termino, nos dormimos en unas de las bolas del Atomio. El dia siguiente una persona nos guio en el Atomio. Tambien fuimos a nadar en una piscina, estaba de maravilla!! El 20 de febrero regresamos a casa. Lo pasamos muy, muy bien!!!

El miércoles el 27 febrero erá un grande reunión de los clases de la escuela de DE Vlieger. Cada clase podria representar 2 alumnos para proponer ideas, actividades, projectos. El director y 2 profesoras están también invitado y si daron advisos. En el principio de la reunión hemos demonstrado el juego de recibimos de vuestra escuela. La caja del jeugo atiraba mucho interes. Cuando abrimos la caja todo los chicos dicieron: Wooow, aaah, que linda, puedo ver...
hablabamos sobre los figuras que están sobre los discos, y que figuras reconocieron: un caballo, una pareja baliando, un pajaro,...
Despues todo podria ver el libro con la explicación y hemos traducido la introdución. Querian también saber que dibujos estan en la calenderia. Los chicos los gustan mucho caballos ;-)
El papel grande con toooodos los nobres los emocionaba enorme. Erá un silencio. Por fin el libro de Martin Fiero. Va a dar un lugar muy importante en la biblioteca de la escuela y utulisarlo en el proyecto.
Algunas chicos tenían preguntas sobre: que es un asado y como lo escribes?
puedes sacar fotos para hacer un jeugo "Quien es Quien?"...

Después fuimas a visitar el grupo de Tom. Sabían mucho sobre Argentina: todo aprendido durante el ano pasado, con este proyecto. Además erá un alumno que va a Argentina este año...
Estamaban re-sorprendido sobre el resultado del jeugo. Tom sacaba muchas fotos. Seguramente vamos juegarlo en la semanas que vienen.
Al final algunas chicos pusieron textos sobre el weblog.

Hi there,

how are your holidays? Did you have a good time?

I suppose you are already preparing the next schoolyear.

I hope for you it wasn't too hot the last two months.

Here we didn't have much of a winter till now. We had no snow this winter and hardly any frost. At this time some of the trees are starting to blossom already!

The children of my class are working on a project about Belgium and some neighbouring countries. We visited Brussels for two days and we slept in the well known monument 'the Atomium'. Here you can see some pictures of those days. Go and take a look on our blog too:

There you will find a lot more pictures. It's a pity that we don't speak Spanish and you don't speak Dutch. It would be easier to understand each other, and then the children would be able to correspond with each other in an easy way.

¿Cómo van las vacaciones?

Supongo que ya deben estar preparandose para el nuevo año escolar.

Espero que no haya hecho mucho calor en los dos meses pasados.

Por acá el invierno no fue muy frío hasta hace poco. ¡Ya están florenciendo los árboles!

Los chicos de mi clase están trabajando en un proyecto sobre Bélgica y algunos países vecinos. Estuvimos de paseo por Bruselas por dos días y pasamos la noche en el conocido monumento "El Átomo".

Espero que aprendan mucho en los próximos meses sobre como vivimos acá en Bélgica y espero que nosotros podamos aprender mucho sobre cómo es la vida en Buenos Aires también.

Bericht van Tim uit Argentinie

Het is voor mij gedurende een lange periode een droom geweest om te reizen doorheen Zuid-Amerika. De combinatie van avontuurlijk reizen en initiatief nemen in een vrijwilligerswerk leek mij daarbij een interessante uitdaging. Er ging weinig voorbereiding vooraf aan mijn eerste buitenlandse praktijkervaring. Voordien was ik vooral via internet op zoek gegaan naar een passend vrijwiligersproject maar gezien de kostprijs en het tijdsbestek van veel sociaal culturele vrijwilligersintitiatieven bleef ik steeds bot vangen.

Uiteindelijk kwam ik via het reisinfocentrum, ´Wegwijzer´ in contact met Geert Beeckmans. Hij heeft mij verder geïntroduceerd en begeleid in ´Escuela nr.14` in Vicente Lopez, Buenos Aires. Dit was voor mij een unieke kans om te kunnen participeren in een vrijwilligersproject waar tegenover geen hallicunante financiële tegemoetkomingen werden gesteld.

Bij mijn aankomst in de luchthaven van Buenos Aires ben ik meteen naar de school in Vicente Lopez vertrokken. Ik voelde er mij meteen welkom. Het contact met de leerkrachten en alle andere mensen die in de school actief waren was werkelijk hartverwarmend. Na een stevige maaltijd maakte ik kennis met alle klassen. Hoewel mijn eerste gesprekken in het spaans eerder moeizaam verliepen leerde ik na enkele dagen al vrij snel nieuwe woorden. De volgende dag kreeg ik zelf de mogelijkheid om wat les te geven voor de eerste en tweede klas. Ik vertelde de leerlingen over België en leerde hen bijvoorbeeld ook het alfabet en de seizoenen in het engels aan. De dagen daarna hield ik mij vooral bezig met het geven van workshops rond populaire gezelschapspelletjes van bij ons zoals wie is het, ganzenspel, en quoridor. Daarbij kwam ook het welgekende ´tamega spel´ aan bod. De leerlingen waren tijdens het spelen van deze spelletjes ongelooflijk enthousiast.

Een volgend aspect van mijn opdracht was het aanvullen van de weblog * over de uitwisseling met de freinetschool, ´De Vlieger` in Gent. Hierbij was het belangrijk een beeld te kunnen geven van de leerlingen in de school van Vicente Lopez en alle leerkrachten en externen in te lichten over de werking van de weblog. Ik denk dat er belangrijk werk is verricht naar verdere uitwisselingpsprojecten toe. De immense bereidheid tot samenwerking van de school in Vicente Lopez zorgde weliswaar ook voor het slagen van dit project. Het viel mij vooral op hoe groot het engagement en de gastvrijheid van de mensen in de school van Vicente Lopez wel was. Ik werd overrompeld met maté en empanades op school en zelf uitgenodigd voor eten bij mensen thuis. Mijn aanwezigheid in de school werd op prijs gesteld zonder dat er daarbij strikte verwachtingen werden gesteld.

Het was verrassend om mij in dit avontuur te werpen. De ervaring die ik in de school heb opgedaan draag ik zeker mee naar mijn verder professioneel engagement als social werker. Ik kon mij naar mijn bescheiden mening geen betere leerschool voorstellen. Ik zou daarom iedereen willen aanraden om aan gelijkaardige vrijwilligersinitiatieven deel te nemen.

Alvast mijn dank aan iedereen die dit voor mij heeft mogelijk gemaakt,

waaronder in het bijzonder aan Geert Beeckmans, de directie en alle leerkrachten van Vicente Lopez.

Tim: antes salir...

Durante mucho tiempo he soñado con viajar por América Latina. La combinación de un viaje de aventura y hacer trabajo voluntario me parecía un desafío interesante. Tuve poca preparación para mi primera experiencia en el extranjero. Ya me había metido en internet para buscar un proyecto social cultural endonde podía trabajar como voluntario, pero la mayoría de los proyectos tienen un costo muy alto y piden una larga estadía. Finalmente a través del centro de viaje "Wegwijzer" me puse en contacto con Geert Beeckmans que me presentó y acompañó a la escuela nº 14 de Vicente López, provincia de Buenos Aires. Ahí se me ofreció una oportunidad para participar en un proyecto como voluntario sin tener que poner una suma halucinante en pesos.Al llegar a Buenos Aires me fui enseguida a la escuela en Vicente López. Me sentí beinvenido desde el primer momento: el contacto con los maestros y el resto del personal era realmente muy cálida.Después de una buena comida me presentaron a todos los grados. Las primeras conversaciones eran un poco difíciles pero ya pronto aprendía nuevas palabras. Al otro día yo mismo estuve delante del primer y segundo grado. Les hablé de Bélgica y les enseñé el alfabeto y las 4 estaciones en inglés. Los días siguientes me dediqué a enseñar y jugar con los chicos los típicos juegos de mesa de Bélgica como "quien es", "el juego de la oca" y "quoridor". También jugamos el conocido juego "Tamega" y los alumnos quedaron muy entusiasmados al jugar estos juegos. Otro aspecto de mi tarea era la actualización del weblog sobre el intercambio de la escuela con la escuela freinet "De Vlieger" en Gante. Lo importante era poder transmitir una imagen de los alumnos de la escuela de Vicente López además de informar a todos los maestros e interesados como funcionaba el weblog. Creo que aquí se estableció una base importante para futuros intercambios.El que la escuela de Vicente López haya estado tan dispuesta a colaborar es lo que generó el gran éxito de este proyecto.Me llamó la atención el gran compromiso y la calidez de la gente en la escuela. Continuamente me invitaban con mate y empanadas y hasta fue invitado para cenar con ellos en casa. Apreciaron mi presencia sin esperar nada en específico de mí. Me encantó meterme en esta aventura y me llevaré esta experiencia adonde vaya para poder aplicarla en mi trabajo como trabajador social. No me podría haber imaginado un mejor aprendizaje, por lo cual les diría a cualquiera que trate de participar en esta tipo de proyecto voluntario. Desde ya miles de gracias a todos los que han hecho posible esta experiencia para mí, y sobre todo a Geert Beeckmans, la dirección y todos los maestros de la escuela de Vicente López. Tim Vuylsteke.

Estoy particularmente muy agradecida con el Intercambio cultural entre Bélgica y nuestra Escuela, a través del Sr. Geert y el Sr Tim, que ha compartido momentos con nosotros y nuestros alumnos.


Los niños han jugado con ellos con mucho entusiasmo con juegos didácticos, y han aprendido muchas cosas del país. los niños de Bélgica aprenden sobre Buenos Aires y viceversa.


Todo este último tiempo en la Escuela ha sido muy gratificante y se ha abierto una puerta para continuar con los proyectos.Desde ya que estaremos permanentemente agregando temas en el blog para que todo esto continúe.


El sr. Tim también hay que destacar que ha colaborado con la Escuela, y ha pintado la puerta de entrada junto con un auxiliar del colegio, esto fue muy bueno, y los alumnos y las maestras muy agradecidos.


Muchos Saludos, y que este Año 2008 depare los mejores deseos de Paz, y Prosperidad `para todos. Que se cumplan todos sus proyectos!
